I am the Co-Founder and Co-Chair of the Board of Directors of Hear Your Song, a national nonprofit that empowers children and teens with serious illnesses and complex health needs to make their voices heard through collaborative songwriting.

 

Hear Your Song supports kids with a variety of both physical and mental health diagnoses through the entire process of writing and producing their own original songs. Hear Your Song provides power and choice—and a microphone—to young people who are so often deprived of agency in their day-to-day lives.

Founded in 2020, Hear Your Song has supported more than 250 kids through partnerships with hospitals, advocacy organizations, schools, and camp programs, including Montefiore Medical Center, Sickle Cell Society UK, The Crohn's and Colitis Foundation, MitoAction, The Immune Deficiency Foundation, and more.
